FBR2SDI Receiver (PVC-975) overcomes the distance limitations of
transmitting video over coaxial or Ethernet cable allowing for broadcast
quality video to be distributed over long distances while retaining pristine
quality. The PVC-975 receiver when coupled with the PVC-970 Transmitter
provides a very cost effective method of distributing uncompressed 1080p
60 video streams over long distances.
The FBR2SDI Receiver is a dual channel device supporting two independent
and simultaneous video streams supporting data rates from 50 Mb/sec. to 3
Gb/sec. for each video stream making the PVC-975 a very cost effective
solution.
The FBR2SDI Receiver unit (PVC-975) provides two SDI outputs on 75 Ohm
BNC connectors for each video stream. The PVC-975 includes dual high
speed cable drivers supporting data rates up to 2.97 Gb/sec and is
compliant with SMPTE 424M, 344M, 292M or 259M.
The FBR2SDI Receiver provides robust conversion from optical to electrical
interface allowing the reception of two simultaneous video streams to be
received over very long distances when coupled with the PVC-970 SDI2FBR
Transmitter or other compatible Transmitters.
The combination of the transmitter and receiver devices creates an end to
end solution which allows for efficient high quality movement of video
streams over long distances. This is the perfect solution for outdoor sporting
events, concerts and large buildings or connecting between buildings on a
large campus.
